Terms of Service
Last updated: February 11, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Coral mobile application and related services (the “Service”) provided by [Entity Name] (“Coral,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Coral. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate account information
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access to your account
- Not share your account with others or create multiple accounts
3. The Service
Coral is an AI assistant platform that connects to your existing services (email, calendar, code repositories, etc.) and uses AI to help you accomplish tasks. Each user receives a dedicated server for data isolation and privacy.
The Service includes:
- AI-powered conversations and task execution
- Integration with third-party services you authorize
- Proactive monitoring of your connected services (heartbeat)
- File processing and code execution within your workspace
- Usage tracking and credit-based billing
4. AI-Generated Content
Coral uses Anthropic’s Claude AI models to generate responses and take actions on your behalf. You understand and agree that:
- AI outputs may be inaccurate. Coral may produce responses that are incorrect, incomplete, or misleading. You should verify important information independently.
- Coral is not a professional advisor. Do not rely on Coral for medical, legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice. Consult qualified professionals for such matters.
- You are responsible for actions taken. When Coral sends emails, creates issues, posts messages, or takes other actions through your connected services on your behalf, you are responsible for those actions. Review Coral’s proposed actions before confirming when the stakes are high.
- No guarantees of availability or accuracy. AI models may be updated, changed, or temporarily unavailable. We do not guarantee that Coral’s responses will be consistent over time.
5. Third-Party Integrations
When you connect third-party services to Coral, you:
- Authorize Coral to access those services on your behalf within the scopes you approve
- Remain bound by the terms of service of those third-party services
- Can revoke Coral’s access to any service at any time through the app
- Acknowledge that Coral is not responsible for changes, outages, or data loss in third-party services
6. Acceptable Use
Your use of Coral is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
7. Credits and Billing
Coral uses a credit-based billing system:
- Your subscription includes a monthly credit allocation based on your plan
- Credits are consumed based on AI model usage (token consumption with markup)
- When your credits are exhausted, Coral’s AI features are paused until you add funds or your next billing cycle
- Credit balances do not roll over between billing periods
- Usage is tracked and visible to you in the app
- Pricing may change with 30 days’ notice
For payment processing, we use Stripe. We never directly handle your payment card details. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy for how Stripe handles your payment information.
During the beta period, specific billing terms may differ and will be communicated to you directly.
8. Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you create and share through Coral, including your messages, uploaded files, and any outputs generated at your direction.
You grant Coral a limited license to use, process, and store your content solely to provide the Service to you. This license ends when you delete your content or account.
We do not use your content to train AI models or for any purpose other than providing the Service.
9. Intellectual Property
The Coral application, website, branding, and underlying technology are owned by [Entity Name]. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.
10. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
11. Infrastructure and Data
Coral provisions a dedicated server for your account. You understand that:
- Your server is managed by Coral — you do not have direct shell access
- We may access your server for maintenance, support, and security purposes
- Server resources are shared across your conversations and integrations
- When you delete your account, your server and all data on it are permanently destroyed
12. Service Availability
We strive to keep Coral available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coral and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or reliable, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Coral and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from: (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) actions taken by Coral through your connected services at your direction, or (d) your violation of any third party’s rights.
16. Termination
Either party may terminate your account at any time:
- You may delete your account through the app’s Settings screen. All your data will be permanently destroyed.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law. We will attempt to provide notice before termination except in cases of severe or urgent violations.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
17. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules, conducted in English, with the arbitration taking place remotely. You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action.
Either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights or prevent irreparable harm.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. For significant changes, we may also notify you through the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
