Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the Coral Service and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. Violating this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.
1. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Coral to:
Harmful or Illegal Activity
- Engage in, facilitate, or promote any illegal activity
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or harm any person
- Generate content that exploits, abuses, or endangers minors
- Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful software
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or network
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users’ experience
Abuse of AI Capabilities
- Attempt to extract, reconstruct, or reverse-engineer Coral’s system prompts, AI models, or underlying technology
- Use Coral to generate spam, phishing content, or deceptive communications
- Create misleading content that impersonates real people or organizations
- Use Coral to generate content that violates Anthropic’s Acceptable Use Policy
- Circumvent safety features, content filters, or usage limits
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Service (outside of Coral’s intended automation features)
Abuse of Connected Services
- Use Coral to mass-send unsolicited emails through Gmail
- Create spam issues or pull requests on GitHub, Linear, or other services
- Flood Slack channels with automated messages
- Access or manipulate other people’s data through shared service accounts
- Violate the terms of service of any connected third-party service
- Use Coral’s write access to connected services for any destructive or harmful purpose
System Abuse
- Attempt to access other users’ servers, data, or accounts
- Consume excessive resources in a way that degrades service for others
- Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to third parties without authorization
- Use the Service to build a competing product
2. Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- You are responsible for actions Coral takes on your behalf through connected services
- You should review Coral’s proposed actions before confirming when the consequences are significant
- You must comply with the terms of service of all third-party services you connect to Coral
3. Enforcement
We may investigate potential violations and take any action we deem appropriate, including:
- Warning you about the violation
- Temporarily suspending your account
- Permanently terminating your account
- Reporting illegal activity to law enforcement
We aim to provide notice before taking action, except in cases of severe violations or when required by law.
